It was found by fly fisherman , Julio Truman , in Kodiak , Alaska Weighing 69.82 kg, it contains 53.33 kg of gold (1,682 troy ounces on July 2, 2024
Julio Truman after a succesful day of salmon fishing walked to edge of the river to clean his salmon? Whilst running water through his freshly cleaned salmon he spotted a glitter of gold protruding from the river bank. With his bare hands he removed mud from the gold nugget and removed the nugget from the river bank.
After cleaning mud from the nugget he headed to the local gold assay office in Kodiak? The owner gulped and asked where the fisherman found this nugget. He then tested and weighed the gold nugget and told the fisherman " This is the largest gold nugget in the world and you have found the motherlode."
Approx worth is : $1,560,387.50 not a bad days fishing?
After salmon soushi & Kodiak baked Alaskan Dinner Julio Truman gave thanks to God Almighty and held his head in prayer.
