CAN GREEN TECHNOLOGY SAVE THE EARTH

Forget the tree huggers of the hippy generation we have evolved into the Artifical Intelligence Age.  So unless you are a monk meditating in a cave or been hiding under a rock AI is the future of humanity: Some of my aquaintances swear up and down "there aint no climate change" Tell that to Pakinstan record flooding, Canada record wildfires and millions of people across the globe suffering from heat extremes...some leading to death.  Some factions of ultra-extreme environmentalism might disagree.

But I’d argue they are wrong, because most of the modern world has come to realise we must save earth from pollution, over-exploitation and climate change.I’m a huge proponent for the extreme conservation of our biosphere, ecologies, waterways, oceans, rugged natural landscapes and atmosphere.

Green-technology analyst states as an evidence-based believer that in the last three years we’ve proven that green technology can indeed save the planet and simultaneity usher in sustainable abundance for between 1–10 billion people.

Green tech is an umbrella term that encapsulates any technology that is created to be environmentally friendly from its production line all the way to its usage. It is a continuously evolving form of technology which aims to be less taxing to the natural resources as humans are consuming the resources faster than it can be replenished. The major goal of green technology is to help control climate change, protect the natural environment, reduce our dependence on Non-Renewable resources such as fossil fuel, and heal the damage done to the environment.

Few sectors that are actively investing in this technology are Transportation, Energy, Waste Management Sectors. While there are many advantages of using this technology, it needs to cross some hurdles before it can become a new normal. Over the years’ green technology has become one of the employment sectors with the fastest growth. Day after day it is getting more obvious that we need to invest more in green solutions for the survival of mankind and the necessity of green tech lies in reducing the risks posed to the environment and in conserving natural resources.

FUTURE OF SOLAR FARMS

Even if we have now emerging technologies for reducing emissions are available for implementation, including wind power, improved solar cells, and electric vehicles, we still need to deal with the issue of technology transfer as the developing countries produce majority of the world’s pollution, particularly CO2 and other greenhouse gases due to the careless environmental policy implemented.

The main goal of producing Green Technology is to control climate change, protect the natural environment, reduce our  dependence  on  Non-Renewable  resources  such  as  fossil  fuel,  and  heal  the  damage  done  to  the environment. The market for Green Technology is relatively in its starting stage but the investment capital is already blooming. While it is true that green tech has gotten progressively mainstream in the modern age, components of these business policies have been being used since the 18th and 19th century when the Industrial Revolution was at its peak.

In 2023, green technology can feel like the new kid on the block. But the world of sustainable innovation has a long history you probably didn’t know about.

Take geothermal heating, a popular trend in energy-efficient homes and buildings. Using heat energy from below the earth’s surface dates back to Paleolithic times, when early humans bathed in hot springs and built homes from lava. Or take wind energy — as early as 5000 B.C., our ancestors were using wind energy to move boats down the River Nile. By 2000 B.C., wind power was pumping water and grinding grains. And solar power? Humans were harnessing the sun’s energy in the 7th century B.C. to light fires from magnifying glass. And although battery-powered vehicles might seem like a new trend, 90% of New York City taxis at the turn of the 19th century were electric vehicles.

WIND FARMS CLIMATE CHANGE SOLUTION

So humans have been working on sustainable solutions for everyday needs for a long time. But today, innovative solutions to our environmental problems is now more popular — and more necessary — than ever.

Manufacturers were trying to minimize their negative environmental externalities in the early 19th century by modifying manufacturing practices to create less soot or waste by-products. In any case, green innovation as a perceived business division didn't generally create until the 1990s. The global cumulative investment in renewable forms of energy and green technology processes exceeded $200 billion in the year 2017, according to a United Nations study published in 2018. $2.9 trillion has also been invested in sources such as solar and wind power since 2004. The UN also reported that China was the world's largest investor in the field, with about $126 billion invested in 2017

WHEEL OF GLOBAL GREENING

HOPING WE DONT HAVE WORLD WAR THREE...WITH NUCULEAR EXPLOSIONS CAUSING TOTAL DEVESTATION WE'RE ON TRACK TO SOLVING CLIMATE CHANGE BY THE YEAR 2040.

With EVs and renewable energy better than price parity with non-sustainable legacy solutions and growing at around an incredible 40% per year. And AI and robotics in the next decade will enable unprecedented levels of automatic recycling and environmental cleanups of past sins.

We do need to be careful AI doesn’t take over, destabilise employment or be manipulated by bad players. But it makes sense to me, that when humanity and the universe are analysed dispassionately, humanity and it’s endeavours of justice, planetary stewardship, discovery and general curiosity comes off as a hugely net positive.

YOUR GREEN YOU WIN

THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW:Switching The World To Renewable Energy Will Cost $62 Trillion, But The Payback Would Take Just 6 Years. Our only hope is that every individual, every business corporation and all countries in the world do their part to create enough renewable energy to beat climate change and save our earth.

THINGS YOU MAY WANT TO SAVE: Lets start by doing our part to save the earth:  With new technology we now have a realistic chance of beating the grim reaper?

ZENTRAVELER SAYS: ITS GOOD TO BE GREEN It’s easy to say the task is too hard or too expensive or pushes too far, too fast. Those might be concerns for ordinary challenges. But when the objective is preserving the Earth as a sustainable place where human beings can live, making bold plans is really the least we can do.
